Welcome to Kiwanis Park

Dedicating themselves to “Serving the Children of the World,” members of the Marshalltown “Noon” Kiwanis Club continue to work on a large community project known as Kiwanis Park. Located on South Third Avenue adjacent to Hoglan Elementary School, the park has a large shelter house, playground equipment and lots of trees.

The club donated the park to the City of Marshalltown in 1974 and we continue to upgrade the grounds. A new play structure, swings and riding toys were added a few years ago. Additional work is in the plans for 2008! The club will plant five trees at the park on Saturday, April 26, 2008, as part of the Trees Forever Community/Branching Out Program.

The sign on South Third Avenue identifies Kiwanis Park and the hours it is open to the public. The park is a popular gathering place for families and friends for various events and activities.
